Privacy policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026. This policy describes the included FizzFlow MVP. Review and update it if you enable additional analytics, advertising or other services.
Browser-local tools
Random teams, name picking, wheels, brackets, random order, and Secret Santa work in your browser. Participant lists and assignments are not sent to our servers by these tools. Pair history is saved in your browser's local storage and can be cleared from the pair generator. You can optionally save one roster in this browser's local storage and load it into other tools; deleting it removes that copy from local storage. Shared setup URLs may contain names or choices in the link: do not share private information in these URLs.
Group polls
When you create a poll, the poll question, choices and anonymous votes are stored on the server (locally during development; in PostgreSQL when configured for production). Anyone with the poll URL can access the poll. Polls are designed to expire 90 days after creation. A pseudonymous browser identifier cookie named ff_voter prevents repeat voting from the same browser; it is not a strong protection against deliberate duplicate votes.
Analytics and advertising
Analytics and ads are not enabled by default in the supplied project. If Google Analytics is configured, it loads only after you click Allow analytics. The choice is kept on your device; use Analytics preferences in the footer to change it. Analytics events contain a tool name and action, not participant names or poll contents. Google Analytics may process browser and usage data according to its policies. Advertising is not implemented in this version. Before enabling AdSense, the operator must add appropriate consent and disclosures, including a Google-certified CMP for regions where required.
Hosting and logs
Hosting providers may process technical request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, for security and service operation. Their handling depends on the configured hosting service.
